Settings - My Company


If you are a manager in the Company Admin role you will be able to edit the screen as desired.

1.  Details
  1. Company Name - What do you want your account to be called.  Note this can be pulled through to emails, Standard Text & Response via the @company tag so it is recommended you use your full company name
  2. Menu Name - If your Company Name is too long you can add a Menu Name.  This will only show within AutoPlayAuto.com


2.  Location
  1. Street, Suburb, City, Region - Your dealership location.  Street is both the street address and the street name i.e. 123 Sample Street.
  2. Map Address, Lattitude, Longitude - If you utilise AutoPlay Vehicle Display Pages, or this data is fed into your own website you can specify the dealership location more accurately using these fields.
  3. Country - Many functions are specific by Country such as Appraisals and Vehicle Look Ups.
  4. Time Zone - Important for date stamping activity with AutoPlayAuto.com


3.  Mandatory Fields
  1. The Mandatory Fields section is broken down into Customer Details, Privacy Details, Customer Contact Details, Lead Details, Trade In Vehicle Details, Trade In Vehicle Specifications, Trade In Valuation, Test Drive Details and Write Up Details.  
  2. Each section controls what fields are compulsory in the relevant part of AutoPlay - including when loading a Lead, creating a Test Drive or completing an Appraisal Form.
  3. Ticking a field will make that field compulsory.  In some sections such as 'Customer Details' you can select 'One Of The Above' which will make it compulsory to include either First Name, Last Name or Company (instead of all three)

4.  Listings (Only relevant to dealers who have the Data Management package)
  1. Listing Group Type - split into Passenger/Commercial or Machinery.  Controls what fields you see by default when loading a listing to AutoPlayAuto.com
  2. Listing Type - Car, Motorcycle, Boat, Truck, Bus, Motorhome/Caravan - Controls what fields you see by default when loading a listing to AutoPlayAuto.com
  3. Default Comments - Text that is automatically added to every listing in AutoPlay when displayed on a AutoPlay Vehicle Display Page, or exported to a 3rd Party Listing site/your website.  Note - Default Comments can also be set at Yard or Export level.
  4. Finance Comments - Text that is automatically added to a Finance calculator or AutoPlay Vehicle Display Pages
  5. Brand Comments - Ticking the check box will automatically append to your listings whatever brand comments are set up in your brand/OEM parent account e.g Toyota NZ.
  6. Carousel Title - used in AutoPlay Vehicle Display Pages to add a title above your Carousel module
  7. Finance Per Annum - used in AutoPlay Vehicle Display Pages to add a default Finance Rate % for the finance calculator
  8. On Road Costs Included - Setting used to determine if ORC applies to listings or not.  Search our Support articles for "How To Manage On Road Costs" in Data Management>Managing Listings for more info. 
  9. Autobase - NZ only field used to set the export limit for Autobase exports.



5.  Email Preferences
  1. Fields used to set the company defaults for email templates used within AutoPlayAuto.com.  See the Support Guide Email Preferences for more information. 




6.  Communication
  1. Fields used by AutoPlay when we need to contact the dealership.  Keeping this up to date helps ensure better service from AutoPlay.




7.  Account Preferences
  1. Default Closed Won and Lost fields used to specify which Groups you want to automatically add leads to when they are closed.
  2. User Sort Order - The User Sort Order controls the way that users are displayed in any uUser drop down within AutoPlayAuto.com.  Can be set as 'Last Name + First Name' or 'First Name + Last Name'



Dealerships can also lock down Source and Campaign when a lead is captured electronically via email, website, API or DMS/CRM integration.  This can be managed via the My Company screen under 'Account Preferences'
  1. With setting ON - will not allow user to edit Lead Source & Campaign on electronically captured leads unless the fields are blank
  2. With setting OFF - will allow editing as per status quo.



8.  Company
  1. Company ID - shows the unique ID assigned to your AutoPlay Account
  2. Created - shows the date the account was first created
  3. Updated - shows the date the account was last modified.


9.  Audit
  1. If you have the Audit role you can run an Audit to view all the changes made to the 'My Company' screen and which user made them.  The Audit function is available via the grey action menu.
