Version 20.4.1 - Release Now Available 23 April 2020
The 20.4.1 April release was a shortened one as we made the decision to cut it short to focus on some COVID-19 relevent development instead. In order to get these changes in your hands as soon as possible we brought forward the release by a week. The new release includes;
New COVID-19 Compliance Functionality
Internal Ref: SPW-3444
As part of AutoPlays response to COVID-19 requirements we have implemented a series of improvements to the existing Sales Pipeline process . The new changes are designed to;
- Help dealerships better keep track of customer visits
- Help dealerships keep track of the vehicles they have cleaned and sanitised
- Help dealerships schedule Vehicle Appraisals
- Help dealerships communicate to their customers what is being done with their customer data

Note - This is just the first phase of development aimed at helping dealers - in this case it is most applicable during Level 2 COVID-19 restrictions. However AutoPlay are currently working on the ability to do contactless signatures that will help us support dealers with 'click and collect' test drives during the 2 weeks of Level 3 restrictions. We hope to be able to release this early next week.
Add WON Checkbox to Appraisal Wholesale Quotes Section
Internal Ref: SPW-3397
- When a Wholesale Quote has been added to an Appraisal the option of flagging the 'Quote' has WON is now available.
- In addition on click of the 'Trolley' icon, this will automatically update the 'Trade In Offer' field with the value of the Wholesale Quote.
- Where multiple Wholesale Quotes exist only one can be flagged as WON.
- The 'Tool Tip' states 'Check the ‘WON’ box if you accept their quote, and the trolley icon if you wish to use this quote as your starting ‘Trade In Offer $’.
Duplicate User Check
Internal Ref: SPW-3243
When new Users are created there is now a check for Duplicate Records. If a user already exists then an error message will display.
NSW Concession Registration - Appraisal
Internal Ref: SPW-3315
An additional field has been added to the Appraisal Form for Australian dealers to manually update the appraisal to flag if the NSW Concession Rego exists. It will be stored in the Vehicle section of the form.
Kiosk Users - Add Appraisal and Test Drives to Existing Leads
Internal Ref: SPW-3373
The Existing Kiosk function has been expanded to allow Test Drives and Appraisals to be added to existing Lead records where a PIN has been enabled on the Role Management record. The process flow is as follows:
- After entering the Customer details - a User can choose to complete a customer Look up. This will match on existing records and allow the User to PREVIEW any existing leads and SELECT a record if match is found.
- On click of the SAVE/ADD then the existing Leads will display with the option to add a Test Drive or Appraisal to the existing Lead.
Bulk Password Reset (Autoplay Staff Only)
Internal Ref: SPW-3433
To facilitate the ability to do a Bulk Password Reset on a Dealers account, the following change has been made.
- The 'User List' screen now has the ability to bulk select.
- The 'multi-select' icon now displays next to the keyword search. On click of the icon, either select the Users who require a password reset, or click the 'Select All' icon.
- From the 'More Menu' select the Option 'Send Password Reset Emails'
- A confirm prompt will display 'Are You sure you want to send Password Reset emails to the selected Contacts'
- On confirmation an email is sent to the selected emails to reset their passwords.
Remove Duplicate Leads From Email Campaign
Internal Ref: SPW-3258
- When building a list of contacts for an Email Campaign, the 'Preview' function has been expanded to 'Exclude Contacts with Duplicate Email Addresses' to enable to the User to review the actual list of recipients.
- On 'Build' of the recipient list, the screen has been modified to include a statement that reflects that Contacts with no email address are excluded, and if a contact has a duplicate email address, then the contact with the latest open lead is included.
Auto Response Enabled to Use Listing Video
Internal Ref: SPW-3064
- Use Listing Video - This will enable any captured leads to respond with a template with a Listing Video (where no images exist on the Listing then a standard generic image will be sed from the Auto Response template).
New Lead Allocation Email Improvement
Internal Ref: SPW-3322
The New Lead Notification email has been modified to quickly enable users to identify if a Lead has been allocated and who the Lead was Assigned by. The Lead can still be reallocated but feedback had indicated that this can be easily missed.
Assorted Bugs and Fixes
- SPW-3394 in the Admin/API Settings/Product Config edit screen, a dropdown field for 'User' has been added
- SPW- 3245 When a dealer is enabled as the 'Group Account Visibility' role the 'Adjusted Value' was not displaying on the Vehicle Appraisal dashboard. This has been fixed, and the Customer field will now include the Dealer and Salesperson details for Group Appraisals.
- SPW-3370 Notifications for Group Appraisals were modified to show appraisal status, and where no image is available for the Appraisal the field name will will not display.
- SPW-3273 Dealer Hubs were not accurately reflecting Yards - this has been resolved.
- SPW-3361 the Automated Report Scheduler has been modified to allow for 'ALl Dealers' and 'All Users' in the dropdown, and all for Excel as an output option.
- SPW-3390 The Email Manager campaign functionality has been upgraded to use SPW Task Manager.
- SPW-3392 Affects Autoplay Staff only - a new filed has been added to the Company Details screen 'Use SalesPipeline'. This will default to 'TRUE' on creation of a new record.
- SPW-3302 An issue with Appraisal Gallery images not including the Reconditioning Images has been resolved
- SPW-3278 Yard Field has been added to the 'Import List' Screens
- SPW-3416 An issue with the Wholesaler response not being captured in the 'Wholesale Quote' of the Appraisal form has been resolved.
- SPW-3077 The User List in the Lead Management screen is restricted to users that belong to the 'Manage Leads' Role.
- SPW-3423 In the My Yards screen when a Yard is added and that Yard is saved display a message “Your Yard has been created. Remember to set up a recipient for Leads within this yard, as well as any relevent Role Management settings”.
