How To Reschedule Calendar Events

How To Reschedule Calendar Events

If you are unable to make contact with your customer you will need to reschedule your calendar event.  There are several ways to achieve this.

1.  Change the time on your existing Calendar Event
The quickest and easiest approach is the simply change the date/time on your Calendar Event record.  To do this you can open the existing event and click on the Date and Time fields to reschedule.  Although this quick and easy, the downside is that you will not have any record of any attempted contact with your customer.

2.  Complete the existing Calendar Event and create a new one
Another approach is to mark your Calendar Event as 'Complete' and create a new one.  The easiest way to do this is to Copy your Calendar Event.  You can read more about copying events HERE.

3.  Mark the existing Calendar Event as a 'No Show' and reschedule
If you mark your Calendar Event as a 'No Show' but select the 'Reschedule' reason you can duplicate your calendar event, whilst still recording your attempted contact with the customer.  You can read more about marking Calendar Events as 'No Shows' HERE.

Although option 1 is easy, we recommend option 2 & 3 when rescheduling your Calendar Events.  Option 2 & 3 will ensure that all of your follow up effort is recorded against each lead, instead of one single Calendar Event being continually rescheduled.
