Dealer Group and OEM Custom Accordions
Overview
A new option has been added to separate Group-level Custom Fields, defined by a Dealer Network or OEM, from dealer-specific fields. These Group-level Custom Fields are now displayed in their own independent accordion on the lead detail screen. Additionally, a new setting allows Custom Fields to be configured as read-only at a dealer level, enabling networks to append and display lead-specific data more clearly and consistently across their dealer network.
Provisioning
The Dealer Group or OEM account must have a "Dealer Group" set up, this setting is only able to be controlled by an AutoPlay (AP1) user. Most existing group accounts will already have this in place, specifically these can be set up for two group types
- Dealer Group: Dealer Group
- Dealer Group: Brand
- Group Type must be set to
- Dealer Group
- Brand
- Name the Dealer Group - This will appear as the title of the accordion within the lead
- Add dealerships as required
*Note - other Group requirements (specific brands) can also be applied on this screen.
Once a group has been established, from within the 'Master' or Group account navigate to Custom Lead Fields
Settings > Sales Pipeline Settings > Lead Custom Fields > +
By clicking on the '+' sign in the top right, we can create a new field and have this placed within its own accordion on the Lead Detail page
- Dealer Group must be selected
- Custom Field Title
- Custom Field Name
- Make Restiction
- Field Data Type
- Select this option to force the field to appear in its own accordion
Lead Detail Screen in Dealerships
When a group Custom Lead Field has been created, and the "Display in group accordion" (point 6 above) is checked, then a new accordion will now be visible to the network of dealers within the group it was created for
