The ASSISTANCE role is used to control dealers requests for assistance/rebates directly through the Sales Pipeline for group dealers (i.e Kia, EMD, Hyundai). The role is controlled by the listing Make so requires a listing on the lead in order to submit a request. The fields may differ accross brands.
The role is used 2 ways.
1.) FOR BRAND
If a user is ticked as Manager in the brand account then they are able to Approve the Request via the Assistance Requests screen which will be visible to them. They will also be the person who receives the email notification when a dealer requests it.
If a user is added to the role but is not ticked as a manager then this will make their name appear in the "Requested With" drop down. For multi brand head office accounts (EMD) you must set one role per brand (i.e VW, Audi, Skoda and Porsche)
Both Manager and Non Manager at Brand Level will see the Assistance Requests Dashboard in the LHS nav menu.
2.) FOR DEALERSHIP
If a user is added to the role but not ticked as a Manager they will only be able to view the Assistance Requests they created.
If they are ticked as a manager they will be able to view any Assistance Request created by any userthey share an Assistance Request role with..
This enables the user to see the Assistance Request button in the + menu on iPad and the Assistance form section on Desktop on individual leads. The form detail screen it loads depends on the Make attached to the Listing.
This also enables the user to see a list of all the Assistance records requested at their dealership from the 'Assistance Request' screen.
The email notification is tied to the manager tick. If you are ticked as a manager in the role then you will recieve the email notifications - there is no way to turn this off.
