How To Manage Lead Sources

Overview

Lead Sources can be accessed via Settings>Sales Pipeline Settings>Lead Sources in the main navigation menu.  To view the Lead Campaign Settings screen you will need to have the Manage Sources and Campaigns Role enabled.  When flagged as a Manager you will have full edit rights on the screen, otherwise you will have read only rights.

Searching and Managing Created Lead Sources

The List Screen will display  your Dealer and Group Sources as well as the Standard Autoplay Sources.  The only exception to this is for those Dealers that have the Custom Lead Sources role and in these cases the list will ONLY be records created for them or the dealer group that they belong to.



You have the option to filter by Type, Status and System

Type Filter :

  1. Any Type – Dealer and Group Sources
  2. Dealer – Sources that are specific to your Dealer Only
  3. Group – Sources that are for your Dealer or Brand Group or those Dealer or Brand Groups that you belong to.
  4. Standard – These are the AutoPlay default Sources

Status Filter

  1. Any Active Status – Inactive and Active Sources
  2. Active  - Only active Sources will display
  3. Inactive – Only inactive Sources will display

System Filter

  1. Any System Status – System Only and  Not System Sources
  2. System Only – System Only sources will display
  3. Not System – Not System sources will display

 From the Action Menu you have the following options

  1.  ‘+’ icon will let you add a new source – only available to those with the Manager Flag enabled.
  2. Download icon – to download an Excel file of all the campaigns you have filtered to
  3. Refresh Icon – to refresh the results.

 Add a New Source


  1.  Click the + symbol in the Grey Action Menu and the Add New Lead Source displays
  2.  The Client field will not be editable unless you are an Autoplay Team Member.
  3. For Group Accounts this will display your brand and or dealer groups.
  4. The Country field is not editable and will be pulled from  the Country on your ‘My Company’ details.
  5. Enter Your Source Name
  6. The Order field will determine where in the Source dropdown on a Lead your Source will display in relation to other sources.
  7. The Monthly Cost field is entered – Note when this is entered for Group or Standard records this monthly cost will only affect your Dealer.
  8. The Active flag will determine whether the Source is Active.
  9. The Display For New Lead will determine whether the Lead is displayed in the Source dropdown on a Lead.
  10. The System Flag can only be edited by AP1 Users, and is used when a Source can not be selected manually.
  11. Click save to create your new Source, and the Record Details section will now display.
  12. Click Close and you will be returned to the Lead Sources list screen.
