How To Build Custom Contact Lists
To Create A Custom Contact List in an email campaign, select your email campaign template, and the Option to send an email to a '(Custom Contact List) displays.
1. Click Build List and the Filters pop-up will display
2. Select an Existing Filter or create a new filter based on your requirements.
- Type - Lead or Prospect
- Source - All Sources - or single and multi-select options available.
- Campaigns - All Campaigns - or single and multi-select options available.
- Progress - Any Progress - or single and multi-select options available.
- Yard - All available dealer Yards - single or multi-select available.
- Closed Reason - All Closed Reasons or specific
- Listing Body Type - Free Text (exact match required) or pre-defined values
- Date Range - Pre-defined and custom options
- Date Type - Created or Updated
- Test Drive - Whether a Test Drive exists on the lead
- Appraisal - Whether an Appraisal exists on the lead
- Lead Status - Whether a Lead Status
- Makes / Models - Add a make and model filter
3. On making your selection you can click the Preview option to review your results. the 'Preview' function enables to the user to 'Exclude Contacts Missing Email Addresses' and 'Exclude Contacts with Duplicate Email Addresses' to enable you to review the actual list of recipients.
Click Close.
4. You can then alter your filters or click Build. You will be prompted to Save Filter if you haven't done that already.
5. Your results will display, and at this stage you can click to manually remove remove recipients by de-selecting.
6. Click Done and your list has now been built, and you will be returned to the Live Lead / Email Campaign screen.
7. You can click View List at any time from the Email Campaign screen to review your email recipient list.
