Trade Me Export Vehicle Selection

Trade Me Export Vehicle Selection

Overview

AutoPlay has a unique export option for the Trade Me listing site that will allow a dealership to manually select which listings are being exported at any time. This can be managed directly from its own dashboard screen or from within the listing itself.

Provisioning

The dealership will need to have the Role: Trade Me Export enabled. This contains a user selection menu, each user added to this role will have access to the dedicated dashboard.

Application

If you have the Trade Me Export role enabled you get access to a separate Dashboard in AutoPlay, in the left-hand Navigation under Listings. Access to this dashboard is user based.

Please see below how to interpret this screen

  1. Trade Me export Navigation Menu
  2. Count of Listings available to the export
  3. Amount of vehicles selected for export
  4. Trade Me account limit
  5. Available
  6. Listings that have failed minimum requirements
  7. Export Selection (if there are multiple exports within a single account)
  8. Vehicle Display

  13. Warning triangles will give users more information when clicked

If you have multiple exports (Trade Me Accounts) you can select the account using the filters.

Any listing selected in this Dashboard will be sent to Trade Me, it will also show listings that do not meet  minimum requirements or have received export errors. These vehicles are highlighted with a warning triangle, clicking on this will give the user more information on the error

There are also two other ways a listing can be exported to Trade Me

Listing Detail Screen
From within an individual listing in the General section there is a manual selection box for Trade Me, selecting the box from within the listing will require the page to be saved.

also noted in green are two specific Trade Me options that are only visible when there is a Trade Me export enabled on the dealership account.

Force Trade Me Export
The second option to get a vehicle to Trade Me is also directly from within the Listing Detail page, via the 3 dot menu

3 Dot Menu > Exports > Export to Trade Me

A vehicle will also be able to be withdrawn manaully from Trade Me in this section if it is already currently online. Vehicles will need to have no other pending save changes before the listing can be exported from this section. (IF you have made any udpates to other parts of the listing, these will need to be saved first)

Vehicle Export Limits

As part of the 24.6.1 sprint, AutoPlay is now able to provide a warning or prevention solution for a dealership Export Account to more tightly control the amount of listings that are sent to Trade Me

AutoPlay will run a look up with the "Branch" call hourly. This returns the vehicle account limit. Using this figure, we can then apply a new export validation options with the below options

Hard - No vehicles over the account limit will be allowed to be marked for export.
Soft - A warning will be displayed when a vehicle is selected and the export count exceeds the account limit. It will still allow the vehicle to be selected and exported.
