Requesting Lead Ownership

Overview

New functionality now allows users without permission to view or edit a lead to request ownership of an existing lead through their lead managers. This process will reallocate the lead to the requesting user.

Provisioning

Role Management

A new role has been created that will need to be applied to the account. This is a dealer level role and so will apply to all users within the account.

Workflow

Once the role has been applied, there are now several ways that users are able to request ownership of the lead

Add New Lead Screen

When a user is creating a new lead manually and has selected an existing contact, and the open leads on that contact are displayed, there is now a new button to request ownership




Listing Activity Screen

When a user is within the listing detail screen and access the Listing Activity option, within the Lead accordion there is also the option to Request Ownership




Once a user clicks on the Request Ownership button, this will then send communications to ANY manager that shares a Manage Leads role that covers both the yard and the user combo - this email will have the options to approve or decline the request




If the request is Approved, then this will reallocate the lead to the Requesting user, and they will get an email to notify them of this update
