Listing Advertising Campaigns

Overview

A new option has been created that will allow for the bulk updating of specific listing fields for a temporary "Listing Campaign". This will allow for the vehicle subtitles to temporarily display new text, as well as options to add further text to either the beginning or end of the vehicle comments blurbs. This functionality has been combined into the existing Listing Special Offers and Listing Incentives screen, and has now been moved to the listings settings.

Provisioning

Now when you create a new special offer, there is a new type of Advertising



  1. Offer Type = Advertising
  2. Start and End Dates
  3. Active setting
This will then enable 3 new fields to update vehicles. Please note that the other fields for the other offer types are still visible, as are the options for matching and applying the offer to vehicles in bulk, and anything to exclude it on.


  1. Listing Temporary Subtitle
  2. Listing Temporary comments to be placed on top of the existing vehicle comments
  3. Listing Temporary comments to be placed at the bottom of the existing vehicle comments

This will then show on the listings as below

Listing Dashboard



A new banner for Advertising will be placed on the listings visible from the listings dashboard. If the vehicle is currently out on Test Drive or Loan then those banners will be shown instead.

Listing Detail

The Listing Detail will show the below when the Advertising campaign is applied to the listing



The subtitle field is now no longer editable, there is a new tool tip that is displayed to show that it is currently being controlled via a Special Offer. When the special offer expires or is deactivated, this will then revert back to free text, and the previous value will be visible. It is not removed for this process.



The listing comments will still be editable, but they will also get a tool tip to show that there is a Special Offer active on the vehicle

By clicking into the summary, it will show how the comments will appear when they are exported
