With the 21.6.1 Release we have built new functionality to be able to tag Lead Collaborators to a lead and still allow for the Sales Person to retain ownership of the Sales Process. Lead Collaborators are controlled via a Role that can be applied by the AutoPlay Support team and when applied has five default Collaborators
- Call Center
- Concierge
- Finance Manager
- Sales Manager
- After Sales
The Role has a single attribute to configure. If the 'Lead Collaborators See All Department Leads' is enabled then if you are marked as the Lead Collaborator on a Lead then you will be able to view this in your dashboard. If you have managerial access to the lead from the Manage Leads role, then you will have full ability to edit and manage the lead. If your user access does not have the managerial access from the Manage Leads Role then you will be able to view the Lead summary of the lead and be able to add to the notes section.
Lead Collaborator Role Attribute
The Lead Collaborators can be assigned within a lead by selecting them from a drop down list, or if your user is marked as a lead Collaborator and the lead is assigned to you, then it will automatically apply your user to the Collaborator type if the lead has been assigned to you.
Lead Collaborator default types from within Lead Detail screen
The Lead Collaborator defaults can be hidden where needed and custom types are able to be added for each account. This can be done via
Settings > Sales Pipeline Settings > Lead Collab. Types
Creating a Custom Collaborator Type To set a user up as a Lead Collaborator open the User Detail screen of the person you are going to add. There is now a new section labelled Collaborator Types, simply check the relevant Type and Save. This will then enable the user to be selected as that Collaborator type
Selecting a User as a Lead Collaborator If you have been tagged on a lead as a Lead Collaborator, you will also be identified on the Lead Dashboard via a filter and colour coded marker
