How To Set Up Email Campaign Follow Up Settings

When you send a Live Leads email via www.autoplayauto.com it's possible to set an automatic threshold for follow up. You can navigate to this screen if you have the 'Email Campaign role. To create a new record click on the icon in the grey action menu.




The Email Campaign Follow Up allows dealerships to set the threshold that a customer needs to meet in order to trigger automatic follow up.
  1. If the recipient was sent the email as a result of an Open Lead automatic follow up will create a Calendar Event
  2. If the recipient was sent the email as a result of a Closed Lead a new Lead is created
  3. If the recipient was sent the email via a contact Group a new Lead is created
When sending a Live Lead you may not want to schedule follow up on every single recipient that was sent the email, instead you might want to focus instead on following up with anyone who watched more than 3 videos to ensure the follow up is achievable.



  1. Name - Give your follow up setting a Name.
  2. Type - Select what type of Calendar Event will be created. This defaults to 'Live Leads Follow Up' which helps users identify why the calendar event was scheduled.
  3. Campaign - You can automatically assign a campaign to your lead when automatic follow up is created.
  4. Group Recipients Automatic Follow Up Lead Owner - The User selected here will be automatically assigned any new leads created as a result of the Live Leads email IF the email was sent from a Group. If the email was sent by building a custom recipient list from your leads any new lead will be automatically assigned to the original leads owner.
  5. Auto Follow Up On - Set whether you want the automatic follow up to trigger based on the recipient opening the email, or viewing a video.
  6. Video View Threshold - Enter the number of video views required in order to trigger the automatic calendar event/lead to be created. We recommend 3 video views!
