How To Create A Wishlist Form

How To Create A Wishlist Form

If you are unable to qualify a Lead to a Listing, AutoPlayAuto.com allows you to create a Wishlist Form.  The Wishlist Form lets you enter criteria of the sort of vehicle the customer is looking for in order to match against existing Listings or Appraisals completed within the dealership.

You can create a Wishlist Form when viewing a lead from the + icon in the grey action menu by selecting 'Wishlist'.  You can also click on the 'Add' button within the Wishlist section as pictured below.

When creating a Wishlist you must enter the type of vehicle your customer is interested in.  You can do this via the Specifications and Miscellaneous sections.  You can be as specific and granular as you need to be, or you can take a broder approach if the customer is not certain what type of vehicle they are looking for.

In Specifications you must select at least one field in order for the system to have something to match against.  The Wishlist allows you to specify the following information;
  1. Make (Multiple Selections Optional)
  2. Model (Multiple Selections Optional)
  3. Variant (free text - note this must be an exact match)
  4. Body Type (Multiple Selections Optional)
  5. Transmission (free text - note this must be an exact match)
  6. Drive (free text - note this must be an exact match)
  7. Fuel Type (free text - note this must be an exact match)
  8. 7 Seater (checkbox - will only match where this feature has been ticked on the Listing/Appraisal)
* With the 21.6.1 release, Make, Model and Body Type are now enabled to have mutliple selections on a single wishlist form

In the Miscellaneous section you do not need to complete any of these fields if you do not wish to be specific about your matches.  However you can choose to match by;
  1. Odometer To - enter the maximum KM's/miles the customer wants on the vehicle
  2. Year From and Year To - allow the user to pick an age range for their Wishlist cars. The Year To field cannot be earlier than the Year from field and vice-versa. You can enter just a Year To or a Year From if you are wanting to match any listing/appraisal older or younger than the Year From/To.
  3. Price From and Price To - allow the user to enter a Price range. Will match using the lower of 'Price' and 'Special Price' when matching results on Listings, and Adjusted Trade In Offer when matching Appraisals. The Price To cannot be lower than Price From and vice-versa. Does allow for just a Price To or a Price From to be entered by themselves.
  4. CC From and CC To - allow the user to enter a range of CC they are looking for. Will not allow CC To to be higher than CC From and vice-versa. Does allow for just a CC To or CC From to be entered by themselves.
  5. Match when lead closed - defaults to not ticked. If ticked this will return Appraisals that are on leads that are already Closed Lost or Closed Won.
Once you have finished detailing the criteria you want to match on you can click on 'SAVE' to create your Wishlist Form.  AutoPlayAuto.com will automatically run a routine that checks for any Listings or Appraisals that match your criteria.  The matching routine will automatically run every 3 hours to pick up new Listings and Appraisals created.

NOTE - If you are doing an Wishlist on a Boat or Motorhome/Caravan you can change the 'Type' field to suit.  Selecting one of these listing types will result in different fields being available for Boats including 'Propulsion' and 'Engine HP' or changing the Make/Model fields to free text instead of the Car Make/Model lists when creating Wishlists for Boats or MotorHomes.
