AutoPlay Virtual Demo Videos can be utilised in AutoPlay Vehicle Display Pages, or within Live Leads eDM's. AutoPlay Virtual Demo Videos are stitched together manually from your existing listing images, and an audio file. Watch the video below to see an example of a Virtual Demo Video.
1. How to automatically build Virtual Demo Videos
If you have the Automate Virtual Demos role, and have signed up to either the Data Management or Full Pro Packages then your Virtual Demo Videos will be automatically built when the are first created in AutoPlayAuto.com.
In order to trigger the video build the following business rules must be met.
Listings must have min 5 photos
Listing must have Year, Make, Model, Variant
Listing must have Transmission, Fuel Type, Odometer which will be displayed on slide 4
If a listing has Special Price the video will be built with “Was/Now” pricing on slide 1,2, 9 & 10
If the listing has pulled Fuel Saver and Safety Ratings this will be displayed on slides 4,5,6 & 7. If no rating is detected this slide out will not be visible
If any of the above are changed including changing the sort order of the photos will cause the video to be automatically triggered to be rebuilt
When video builds are automated the videos will build automatically with whatever branded audio is set up in Settings>Listing Settings>Audio with the Type = Default Listing Audio. If you have multiple Audio records conditionally active the video builds will randomise through the available branded audio.

Virtual Demo Videos are a critical part of sending Live Leads eDM's as it allows accurate tracking of video views to measure customer engagement. When selecting Listings for your Live Leads eDM the 'Select Listing' popup will default to those listings with videos.
However at times you may want to select a Listing that currently doesn't have a video. You can build a video from the Listing screen, but to streamline the process you can schedule videos to be built directly from the Email Campaigns/Live Leads screen.
To filter to listings without videos change the filter to 'No Video' and tick the listings you want to feature in your Live Leads eDM. Note - you still require a minimum of 5 photos to schedule a video build.
Click 'SAVE' and 'SEND' and you will receive a warning message letting you know that your email cannot be sent, because several of the listings selected do not have videos. You can either select alternate listings with videos if you want to send your email immediately, or 'Schedule Video Build' to prompt your videos to be built.
Clicking on the 'SCHEDULE VIDEO BUILD' button will prompt your videos to be built.
Once the videos are built you will be emailed to let you know, and you can navigate back to the Live Leads Email Campaign screen to finish sending your Live Leads email.
