How To Action Your Wishlist

How To Action Your Wishlist

Wishlists are intended to direct you to a listing or appraisal that matches the customers criteria. The Wishlist matching routine runs automatically every 3 hours - triggering new alerts if a new listing comes into stock, or an Appraisal Form is completed on the vehicle similar to what the customer is looking for.

  2. Read more about finding previously created Wishlists HERE
Once you've found a matching Listing or Appraisal you can navigate back to your Wishlist to follow up.  Here you will see a list of all the 'Matching Listings' and 'Matching Appraisals'.

Matching Listings
The 'Matching Listings' section will display any listing that the user has role management rights to see via the yards in their Listings Manager role. Listings must be in Current & Pending Status.  Matching Listings are sorted by created date - in descending order from most recently created listings to oldest listings.  Clicking/tapping on the listing will open a summary of the Listing as pictured below.  Selecting the 'VIEW' option will take you through to view the Listing provided you have role management rights to do so.

The 'ADD TO LEAD' button will allow users to add the Listing to their lead. It will be added as the Primary Listing if there are no other listings on the lead. If there is already a Primary Listing it will be added under the Other Listings section.

When adding the listing to the lead the user will be given the option "Do you want to remove the Wishlist items from this lead?".  If you select 'Yes' the Wishlists are all removed from the lead as well as any notifications associated with them.

Matching Appraisals
The Wishlist will also match against any Appraisals created within the account.  There are no restrictions with role management on showing the Appraisal, however the user can only click through to view the Appraisal Form if they have role management rights via the Lead Manager role.

If the user does not have role management rights they see the Appraisal Summary popup instead.  This popup gives the user enough info to gauge if the Appraisal is likely to interest their customer, and they can work with the owner of the Lead to make the deal happen.

Matching Appraisals are sorted by the Appraisal created date first - descending from most recently created Appraisal to oldest.  Matched Appraisals do not show if Appraisal Form is marked as 'Traded' or 'Exclude from Wishlist' (read more about Appraisals HERE).

By default when creating the Wishlist it chooses only to return appraisals on open leads. However if the user ticked the 'Matched when leads closed' option when creating the Wishlist then the Appraisals returned will be on all leads no matter the status.
