How To Accept and Withdraw an Offer on the Appraisal

How To Accept and Withdraw an Offer on the Appraisal

At any time during and after the Bidding period, the Appraising Dealer can Accept Bids, or Withdraw the Offer.

Accepting The Offer
  1. On Accepting the Bid the Contact Details of the winning Bidding Dealer will display and the status will change to 'Provisionally Accepted'.   The Bidding Dealer will receive a notification advising that their bid was successful.
  2.  At this stage the Offer can still be resubmitted.  This will create a new offer on the Appraisal and cancel the accepted bid.
Declining an Offer
  1. If an Offer has been accepted, the unsuccessful Bidding Dealers (due to either No Bid or Bid not accepted) will display with status 'Offer Declined'.
  2. If no Offer has been accepted, simple click 'Decline' and the status of the offer will display as "Offer Declined'
Withdrawing An Offer
  1. The Offer can be withdrawn at any time, even if previous bids have been accepted.
  2. If the Offer is Withdrawn the Group Offer section will no longer display in the Appraisal and will no longer be visible to Bidding Dealers.   A notification is sent advising Bidding Dealers the offer has been withdrawn.
  3. If an Offer is Withdrawn and Re-offered  then a 'History' section will display showing that bids were previously declined or not accepted, and the Bid Status will display as 'Offer Withdrawn'.
