AutoPlay can capture leads from most electronic sources. AutoPlay has several methods that can be used to capture leads - the approach taken depends on the source of the leads and what they are able to provide.
1. Via AutoPlay Lead API - AutoPlay's Lead API is available to be used by lead providers and third party systems to push leads directly into AutoPlay. This can be directly from a website, or from a CRM/Marketing Automation provider. AutoPlays Lead API Manual is available upon request. Contact
support@autoplay.co.nz for assistance (charges may apply).
2. Via External Lead API - If a lead provider/3rd party vendor is unable to integrate with AutoPlays Lead API, but has their own API available AutoPlay may be able to integrate with them in order to capture leads (charges may apply - integration must be scoped up and handled on a case-by-case basis).
3. Via AutoPlay Data API - If the source of the lead is a vehicle stock page fed by AutoPlays Tokenised Listing API then this API has a built in handler to both capture and log leads. Contact
support@autoplay.co.nz for assistance (charges may apply).
4. Via Email Capture - If capturing leads via API is not possible the fall back option is to capture copies of emails being sent to the dealership from the online listing website. AutoPlay can set up an email "
dealername@autoplay.co.nz" which will be provided to the website company to capture a copy of any enquiry submitted to the dealership. AutoPlay will create a mapping routine which takes the text provided in the email and converts to the correct field within the Sales Pipeline. Although this is the easiest approach, it is also the least robust - if the lead provider changes the format of their emails without advising AutoPlay it may prevent us from capturing leads.
Leads captured electronically are automatically assigned to the user set as the Lead Manager under Settings>Sales Pipeline Settings>Lead Management. Find out more about managing email lead recipients
HERE.
Electronic leads are automatically mapped to Lead Type=Email and a Lead Source is always applied, so this data does not need to be manually entered by a salesperson.
AutoPlay already has a number of lead providers in Australia in NZ already set up. If a provider is already set up (e.g. Trade Me or Car Sales) then this can very easily be turned on using established methods and rules. If the lead provider is new to AutoPlay then there will be a short discovery period where we determine the best method to capture the leads, and what mapping routine is required. There may be costs associated with setting up a new lead provider.
