Summary

With the 23.9.1 September Release, AutoPlay is now supporting two new Glasses Look Ups to retrieve vehicle information for Australian Appraisals

Services

Glass's Look Up - $1.05
This service uses the the Vehicle Plate, Vin or Chassis combined with the State to return a basic vehicle look up. It will return the below fields

  1. NVIC Code / Model Number
  2. VIN
  3. Chassis
  4. Registration
  5. Registration Expiry
  6. Compliance Date
  7. Year
  8. Make
  9. Model
  10. Colour
  11. Engine Number



Glass's + Look Up - $1.45
This service uses the the Vehicle Plate, Vin or Chassis combined with the State to return an enhanced vehicle look up. It will return the below fields

  1. NVIC Code / Model Number
  2. VIN
  3. Chassis
  4. Registration
  5. Resgistration Expiry
  6. Year
  7. Make 
  8. Model
  9. Colour
  10. Engine Number

Stolen Check
  1. Stolen Type
  2. Police Reference
  3. Stolen Reported Date
  4. Stolen Jurisdiction (State)

Written Off Check
  1. Damage Codes
  2. Incident Details
  3. Incident Data
  4. Incident Jurisdiction (State)
  5. Incident Type


Provisioning

To set up an account for a Glass's look up, each record will need to be set up individually

API Record

A New API record will need to be set up 



  1. Give the record a name
  2. Select Glass or Glass Plus as the API
  3. Select Yards it will be available for 
  4. Save

Role Management
Each of the two look ups has a Role that will need to be enabled, similar to the above API records.



  1. Select Glass or Glass Plus from the role dropdown
  2. Give the record a name
  3. Select User
  4. Select Yards
  5. Choose in role attributes if the look up can be used stand alone

Application

Users will now have the option to select a Glass's look up once they are provisioned directly from within the appraisal form. A number of new fields have been created to hold the enhanced data that is returned, with the basic look up populating the vehicle specifications section






Note that there is no pdf returned to view and save, this is a direct look up service.

Dealerships will be charged per look up even if they are not successful so please ensure that the correct information is added before clicking.
