EMD Special Price Updates

Overview

This guide is designed to show EMD users how to update their vehicles special price within AutoPlay. This data is supplemental to the existing automatic data feed that is received from their Incadea system

How To Update Listing Special Prices

The way that this import has been configured is to give the ability to ONLY update the special price of the EMD Listings

1. Download the Import Listings .csv header file

This is found within the Listing Dashboard 3 dot menu



This will then open the upload screen, click Download Header. A blank .csv with the required header fields will automatically download.




2. Insert Vehicle Data

Open the .csv file and simply transpose the vehicles details that need to be updated, you will only need to enter into two columns to do this,  StockNo and PriceSpecial 



Important Notes:
  1. Do not remove any headers from the template .csv
  2. The import is able to update the Special Price ONLY
  3. The Import matches listings based on Stock Number - so multiple brands could be done within the same file if needed
  4. If you need to remove a Special Price from a listing, include the stock number but put no value or 0 (zero) in the Special Price column

3. Upload The File

To Upload the file, in the same pop up window that the headers were downloaded from, select the Upload File button



Important Notes:
  1. The file being  uploaded must currently not be open in any other windows or programs. (Close the Excel file before uploading it)

When the file is uploaded, click Import




4. Confirmation

The Upload process will be handled in the back end, so you do not need to keep your session open on the screen and can perform other tasks. When the system has completed processing the file, an email will be received to confirm



If the file was unsuccessful it will show as 0 rows completed




AutoPlay Role Provisioning

For this method to be activated on the EMD account the Direct Listings Upload role has been created that includes the following configurable attributes
