Custom Dashboard Calendar Events View

Custom Dashboard Calendar Events View

Overview

By default the calendar view from the lead dashboard will contain all calendar event types (Lead Log Types), we have noticed that some dealerships would only like to see specific events in this calendar, for example, any appointments or face to face interactions, and not have the smaller events such as phone calls and emails that are schedule to appear. With the 24.2.1 release, specific events are now able to be selected at an account level to show in this area

Provisioning

To set an event to display/not display in the dashboard calendar, the user will need to navigate to the Lead Log Types

Settings > Sales Pipeline Settings > Lead Log Types > Individual event record

The user will need to have Lead Manager Admin to have access to this screen. Or an AP1 user.

There is now a new check box on each individual record "Display on Dashboard Calendar". If this box is ticked, the event will still show on the Dashboard Calendar

Notes:
  1. By Default all events will be marked as Display on Dashboard Calendar
  2. Reminder that glabal default event types will not be editable - custom events unique to the dealership will still be editable.
  3. Active check box will remove the item as an option for a calendar event in its entirety
