Creating A Default Lead Progress Update From Completed Calendar Events

Creating A Default Lead Progress Update From Completed Calendar Events

Overview

We have now enabled for calendar events to have default Lead Progress stages attached to them so that when the calendar events are completed, the lead progress will automatically be updated. A mechanism has also been built in to be able to not update the lead progress if the lead is marked as a No Show.

Provisioning

Settings > Sales Pipeline Settings > Lead Log Types

  1. Select a Lead Progress stage to update the lead to on completion of the Calendar Event
  2. Tick this option if you do not wish for the progress to be updated if the event is marked as No Show

Workflow

When completing a calendar event that has been set up with a default Lead Progress state will now have this populate onto the event when it is checked as completed

Note that the user still has the ability to select a different progress stage if required
