Overview
As part of the 22.8.1 SPW release, a new reconditioning feature has been created for Non-Chargeable items. This will allow a dealership to record any applicable damage accurately on the appraisal and have the damage value listed, however, ultimately does not show up in the valuation summary.
Chargeable - Shown on the appraisal form, included in reconditioning calculations
Non-Chargeable - Shown on the appraisal form, not included in the reconditioning calculation, and identified as "Fair Wear & Tear"
Provisioning
The Chargeable and Non Chargeable reconditioning items are available by default and can be accessed via the Appraisal Reconditioning Items
Settings > Sales Pipeline Settings > Appraisal Recondition
Items are added in the method as adding a custom reconditioning item. Upon saving the new record there is a new option to add in Item Values, this is the area where an Item can be marked as Chargeable or Non Chargeable
There are the same elements available when creating new options
Settings:
Auto Apply - If this has 'All' selected, then these items will all automatically apply by default to every new appraisal.
Item Values: Enter any Items you would like to be auto-selectable when on the appraisal screen
Name - Name of the Recon Item
Yard - AutoPlay yards this is applicable to
Order - Where this will be arranged in the list
Cost - How much will the item cost to recondition
Chargeable - Ticking this option will add the expense to the reconditioning items. If left unchecked then it will be itemised on the appraisal, but not accounted for in recoditioning expenses.
Note: These Items are able to be toggled as Chargeable/Non Chargeable directly from the appraisal form also.
Now when the Reconditioning Item is selected (or automatically applied) on an appraisal form a new itemised section appears. From the example screenshot of provisioning a reconditioning item above, this is how it will subsequently display on a new appraisal form
As both of the items were marked as Non-Chargeable there is no value passed on to the Total Reconditioning costs.
