Bulk Communications from Lead Dashboard

Overview

Leads can now be bulk communicated to directly from the Lead Dashboard if the account and user has access to the Bulk Manage Leads role.




Provisioning

To have these options appear for a user, they must be included in the Bulk Manage Leads Role. Also worthy to note, to have access to the Send SMS option, the account will need to have the SMS Gateway enabled.

Workflow

Now when a user has selected a group of leads from the dashboard they are able to select an SMS or Email communication

SMS



  1. Summary or how many individual customers will be messaged
  2. Standard text options
  3. Free text area with character count

Email



  1. Summary of how many individual Emails will be sent
  2. Options to Select who the email is sent from
    1. Lead Owner
    2. Specified user
  3. Email Template to be used
  4. Subject Line of Email
  5. Message Content
  6. Standard Text options available

There has been logic built into this bulk communications so that if a customer that has multiple leads in the selection will only receive one copy of the message.

Customers will also have their Opt outs respected with this bulk communications.
