AutoPlay Test Drive Wizard Testing

AutoPlay Test Drive Wizard Testing

Test Drive Wizard Pilot Program

Hello and welcome to the AutoPlay Test Drive Wizard pilot testing program. We appreciate you taking the time to test out the new process and provide some feedback so that we can make future functionality within AutoPlay more modern and user friendly

Please note that this should not be used for customer facing test drives

This is still in a beta testing environment, but we have opened up the screen functionality to select users so that they are able to click through the new process.

Overview

The Test Drive Wizard is the first Proof of Concept build that AutoPlay has done to both showcase new user workflows to aid in more streamlined data collection and more efficient user processes, but also to showcase the new design language and layout that we are looking to implement across the board in AutoPlay. There is a large emphasis that have been placed on mobile as well as desktop, so please do complete the process on both devices.

At the moment, clicking through to the Test Drive Wizard will take you through to a new window in your browser.

A few important points to bear in mind whilst working through the Test Drive Wizard
  1. Please only use test data, this is only in Beta testing
  2. This process is the longest version of the Test Drive Wizard, prompting to create a new contact and new lead as part of the process
    1. When made live, this process can be started directly from other areas of AutoPlay that will have sections of data prepopulated
  3. The new look navigation menu is not implemented into this Test
  4. The Test Drive Wizard does create a test drive within the live account - these can be deleted
  5. When completing the Test Drive Wizard, this will take the user to the New Look Test Drive Form
  6. This can be done on both mobile and desktop

How to Navigate to the Test Drive Wizard

Each user that has been selected or volunteered for the pilot program will now have a new menu item visible within the existing navigation options under the Listings Menu

Test Drive Wizard

The Test Drive Wizard is a stepped approach to creating a Test Drive Form where a user will only be prompted for relevant information to create and start a Test Drive

Step 1 - Customer Details

On this screen, the user will be prompted to add in Customer Details. This can be done by using the Driver License scanner, or manually typing in the details.

  1. Please note that the mandatory fields that are currently set for your dealership will be applied into this Beta test
The user will then be prompted with the below screens
  1. Existing Customer Look Up
    1. Updating information to the existing customer
  2. Existing Lead
  3. New Lead Details

Step 2 - Second Driver

An option to add a second driver to the Test Drive form. This step can be skipped.

Step 3 - Confirm/Select Vehicle

On this screen the user is able to either select a listing from current inventory or enter vehicle details and dealer plate for a vehicle that may not yet be in stock.

Step 4 - Sign Out Details

This step will contain the details required to sign the vehicle out only. This includes options for Start and End Time, and if the Test Drive is to be completed automatically. There is also an option to upload images of the vehicle prior to it going out on Test Drive

Step 5 - Declarations

If the account is set with any Test Drive Declarations, they will be displayed and enforced here

Step 6 - Privacy Enhanced (optional)

If your dealership has the Privacy Enhanced features enabled on your account, then you will be presented with the Privacy communications matrix. As this is a Test Drive being created from scratch, it will need to be prompted for, if the Test Drive was being initiated from a lead then this information will already be entered.

Step 7 - Acceptance

This step contains the Terms and Conditions, and the ability for the customer to accept these and sign.

Test Drive Form

Once you complete the Test Drive Wizard, you will be presented with the Test Drive From that has been built to the new specification. The immediate difference you will notice is that it is no longer a single scroll screen with many data fields, but now utilizes tabs to separate the sectioned data sets within the form.

Customer Tab

Shows the basic customer data added including second driver. Customer data can be edited within this screen.

Vehicle Tab

Shows the vehicle details for the Test Drive

Test Drive Details Tab

This tab shows the vehicle sign out details, and also contains the form data in the right hand inset

Check In Tab

This tab will find more functionality as the product builds out, however it houses the options to fill in when a vehicle is returned back from Test Drive, and further options to take images of the vehicle as it comes back in

Communication Tab

This tab shows all communications that have been sent out from this Test Drive Form.  Please not that this does send the communication, which are displayed in a conversational and chronological way.

Audit Tab

For those users that have access to the Audit screens within AutoPlay, these are now displayed on stand alone tab

Closing The Form

By clicking Close on the form, you will be returned to the Vehicle Registry screen within the current Sales Pipeline environment.

You can easily identify records created via the Wizard as they are displayed in the Origin Column.
