AutoPlay Rewards - Overview

AutoPlay Rewards (SPW-2767)

With up to 80% of all leads captured in a month not being converted to a sale, one of the challenges for any dealership is maximizing the conversion of the leads they have already spent money to receive.  Good lead management practices are at the heart of these, and can be achieved through a mixture of compliance and enforcement.  However at times it can be more effective to use the carrot rather than the stick.

In 20.7.1 AutoPlay has built our new AutoPlay Rewards program in conjunction with Smart Loyalty - one of the pre-eminent loyalty and rewards companies in NZ.  AutoPlay Rewards can be used by any dealer using the Sales Pipeline Package to incentivise selected behaviors.  Currently AutoPlay Rewards can offer two KPI's, and are working on 3 more;
  1. Test Drives - e.g A sales person could earn x points per test-drive [points accumulate as vehicles are marked against this kpi as the month progresses]
  2. Sales - e.g. A sales person could earn X points per lead marked as sold [points accumulate as vehicles are marked against this kpi as the month progresses]
  3.  Awaiting Action - e.g A sales person could earn X points if there are less than x leads awaiting action at the end of the month, x points if less than x leads awaiting action.
  4. Overdue & Stalled (coming soon) - e.g A sales person could earn x points if there are less than x leads overdue/stalled at the end of the month [yes/no logic applied at end of month – if yes the block of points the DP has nominated is issued to the sales person], and x if less than x overdue/stalled leads
  5. Email Response Time (coming soon) - e.g A sales person could earn X points if the average response time to a email lead is less than 30 minutes at the end of the month, or x points if average response time less than 60 minutes
All effective dealers understand that by focusing on certain actions it can drive results.  For example if you focus on achieving Test Drives in most cases this will result in increased sales.  AutoPlay Rewards allows individual dealerships or dealer groups to set KPI's to motivate their staff.

AutoPlay Rewards is currently at a BETA stage, and the commercial model is still being finalised.  AutoPlay Rewards will be an additional optional paid package and will include a set up fee (pricing TBC).

Features included in AutoPlay Rewards include;
  1. Admin screen to set up the points model for your dealership/group
    1. Points are earned by individual users enrolled in the Rewards program
    2. When set up at a group level all dealers in the program will be able to earn points in AutoPlay Rewards through their OEM/group
    3. We can set up AutoPlay Rewards to generate points on leads that are New/Demo/Used listings as well as specific Make/Models and Yards
  2. Only users set up with the AutoPlay Rewards Role will generate points
  3. Use the default points KPI's or AutoPlay can customise to suit your requirements - if an action can be measured and tracked in AutoPlay then a rewards KPI can be built to incentivise it
  4. Set the number of points you wish your sales team to earn in return for achieving the desired actions.
    1. Points can be earned on a per action basis (Test Drives or Sales), on a monthly roll up (Awaiting Action, Overdue/Stalled) or by monthly average (Email Response)
    2. On action points are earned as soon as a action is completed (e.g. a TD form is created).
    3. Monthly roll up and average points are scheduled at 5am on the 1st of each month for the actions conducted in the previous month
    4. During the month if an action is undone (i.e lead that was sold is reopened) the points are removed
    5. Once the points are submitted at the end of each month the points earned are final and cannot be reversed
    6. All points earned are considered 'Pending' until transacted by Smart Loyalty at the end of each month.  Pending points are those you are going to earn, but cannot yet be redeemed in the Rewards Shop.
    7. AutoPlay submit points to Smart Loyalty on the 1st of each month.  Smart Loyalty convert these to real, redeemable points 2-3 working days after the 1st of the month
  5. Points targets can be set up as a 'Max Value' or 'Stretch Target'
    1. 'Max Value' targets are those where dealers/groups can set graduated targets where points are earned at a different rate past desired thresholds
    2. 'Stretch Targets' are those where each individual action earns a set number of points, but after hitting a set target a bonus amount of points can be earned
    3. For example a Sales Target that is set at 1 sale = 10 and 5 sales = 100 can generate points in different ways depending on the target type.  When a salesperson achieves 10 sales;
      1. Using 'Max Value' logic the points earned would be 540 points total (10pts each for sales 1-4 + 100pts each for sales 5-10)
      2. Using 'Stretch Targets' logic the points earned would be 300 points total (10pts each for sales 1-10 + 200pts for hitting 5 sales twice)
  6. AutoPlay can set Points Multipliers to allow users to earn bonus points for a specified date range.  For monthly roll up KPI's the multiplier needs to be in place at the time the rewards calculation is completed (on the 1st of each month).  For on demand points calculations rewards points multipliers can be calculated as points are earned
  7. It is possible to set a minimum number of leads required to earn points on certain KPI's (e.g you must have X leads to qualify for the Awaiting Action leads), as well as a maximum number of points that can be earned on selected KPI's (e.g Test Drives)
  8. An audit showing the history of points earned each calendar month is visible on the Rewards screen in AutoPlayAuto.com
