Auto Test Drive UK - Completing A Test Drive

1. Vehicle Registry Screen 
To complete a Test Drive you will first navigate to the Vehicle Registry under the Listings section of the Left Hand side menu menu to see a list of the logged Test Drives.

  1. Keyword Search by Vehicle and Customer Details 
  2. The Download icon in the Grey Menu bar will download a list of the filtered results in either PDF or Excel
  3. Clicking on the Filter icon by the 
  4. Status Filter - will default to 'Any Status' but can be filtered by the following options
    • Uncompleted (completed flag false, start time not passed)

    • In Progress (completed flag false, start time passed, end time not passed)

    • Overdue (aka Scheduled for pickup) (completed flag false, start time passed, end time passed)

    • Completed (completed flag true, start/end time have no impact)


  1. Outcome Filter - will default to 'Any Outcome' but can be filtered by the following options
    • Pending

    • Sold

    • Not Sold


  • Any Type - Will include but may not be limited to

    • 'Test Drive', 'Service', 'Employee', 'Sponsorship', 'Client', 'Supplier' and 'Press'


  • Date Range - will default to 'This Month' but includes;

    • 'Last Month', 'This Year', 'Last Year', 'All Dates' and 'Custom'.


2. Completing a Test Drive

There are two options to Complete a Test Drive

2.1.  Directly from the Vehicle Registry screen
  1. Click the 'Blue Plus' icon in the completed column and the Complete Test Drive pop-up will display.  
  2. Select Outcome, which is a mandatory field and click Save.  
  3. The Confirm prompt will display and you are given the option to update the end time to now.
  4. Click Save



2.2 Open the Test Drive 
  1. Update the End time
  2. Check 'Completed'
  3. Update the Odometer In reading
  4. Record any Check In images
  5. Click Save

In both cases your Test Drive will now display in the Vehicle Registry screen with a tick in the completed column.
