Adding Notes To My Leads

Adding Notes To My Leads

When managing your leads it is likely you will need to add notes and comments about your interaction with the customer.  Notes can either be manually typed into the 'Notes' field or you can click the green 'ADD' button.  If you click the 'ADD' button it will automatically date stamp your note, as well as add the user who added the note.

When adding notes, if you need more space to read your notes you can click on the lower right corner of the 'Notes' field to enlarge or shrink the field.  There is no restriction on the number of characters in the 'Notes' field in AutoPlayAuto.com but please be aware that if we integrate with your DMS/CRM this may not be the case.  If you do manually edit your notes make sure to click 'SAVE' at the bottom of the screen (although you will be warned if you attempt to navigate away from the screen without saving).

When you add a calendar event it also copies these notes automatically to the 'Notes' field.  Please be aware that the Lead Notes are distinct from Customer Notes, or the Notes you can add to Test Drive, Appraisal or Write Up Forms.
